Office of Student Diversity

Welcome to the Office of Student Diversity

Welcome to NMSU!  The Office of Student Diversity (OSD) was established by President Barbara Couture effective July 1, 2010.  The areas that report to OSD are American Indian Program, Black Programs, Chicano Programs, NM-MESA, and the Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center.  OSD is part of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.  Our office is located in Room 235 on the second floor of Garcia Annex.  Our main phone number is 575-646-1729.

Our goal is to provide programs and services that assist our students to successfully achieve their hopes and dreams of a college degree.  We recruit, retain, and graduate students from diverse backgrounds, particularly first-generation and low-income college students. Our offices provide a SAFE ZONE for all students. Please visit our study areas, which have computers, in the American Indian Student Center, Garcia Annex, and Regents Row.  We look forward to hearing from you!  GO AGGIES!
