OSD Programs

American Indian Program

American Indian Program (AIP) offers services designed to help students successfully achieve their collegiate goals. AIP provides a place on campus where students can study, use computers, or just take a break from classes.  Justin McHorse is the Director of AIP.  Michael Ray serves as Program Coordinator and Juanita M. Black Programs

The mission of Black Programs is to unite students of African-American, Caribbean descent by increasing the awareness and appreciation of Black history through education, cultural, social and academic programs. Chicano Programs

Chicano Programs is a support service that promotes and empowers all student success through education, advocacy and development of cultural literacy. Services for students include advocacy for academic, financial, and life issues.  Dr. Laura Gutierrez Spencer is Director of Chicano Programs.  Adan Delval serves as Program Coordinator and Erica Enriquez serves as Administrative Assistant. New Mexico MESA

NM MESA is a pre-college program that prepares students for college majors and careers in mathematics, engineering, science or technically related fields.  Terry Ramirez heads NM MESA at NMSU for the Southern Region of New Mexico. For more information, please call 575-646-1382.

Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center

The Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center at New Mexico State University was created to provide a safe place on campus for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning community and those who support them.  Jessica Spohn is Coordinator of the SGDRC.
